Men's Day

The United Methodist Men celebrated Men's Day, July 15, at the morning worship service with Reverend Dr. Louis S. Shockley, Jr., as their guest speaker.
Reverend Shockley is currently serving as District Superintendent for the Baltimore-Washington West District.  This is not the first time Reverend Shockley has visited with this congregation and it was nice to have him back. The message for the morning was "Rooted in What Faith?"  The congregation was blessed by the message and it challenged them to "rise up" for God. This challenge was not only directed to the men but for  "all" to rise up.
The United Methodist Men would like to again thank everyone for their attendance at the crab feast and their monetary contributions in making Men's Day a successful program.
