A night of talent and fun.

On November 17th, the Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania Committee enjoyed fellowship and fun as friends made bids, ate Maryland Cuisine and enjoyed in-house talent along with visiting guests.
Thanks to Evelyn Burns and Tensy Macon who sponsored the Talent Show.
Larry Johnson, as in the past, emceed the show. He entered the Fellowship Hall wearing a Redskin cap and sweatshirt to the delight of JoAnn Thomas. As if this were not enough, he entered a second time wearing a Raven's Super Bowl sweatshirt. He told jokes and cajoled some in the audience.
Barbara Smallings, who always responds when we call upon her, read four of her original poems to the delight of the crowd. An interpretive dance was performed by Janice Dunn. A   solo was sung by Brianna Carroll. The gifted and talented Jessica Smith performed a monologue and also played the piano. Enough cannot be said for the Hall brothers--Marcus, Calvin, and Tony, who along with April Pitts performed "Melodies from Heaven."
Sincere thanks to all who participated in any way to make the evening a success.
A special thank you to Calvin Dorsey and Clifton Sands who, in their calm and silent ways just made things go smoothly.
The evening concluded with a thank you from Pastor Oliver for an enjoyable evening.
