Are you ready to give your sacrificial gift to St. Paul on our 210th Anniversary/Homecoming Sunday--October 14?
Members have been praying for guidance in ways to give a sacrificial gift. Here are  ways that some members are saving towards their giving:

  • Donating their Federal Tax Rebate
  • Saving lunch money (brown bagging it)
  • Saving loose change
  • Saving "treat" money
  • Foregoing purchases of clothing or household items
  • Encouraging their children to fill their St. Paul banks
The recent terrorist attack and over-whelming loss of life has made us all keenly aware of our constant need for God's protection and guidance in our lives. The church remains a rock of strength through which God's word and His grace is channeled.
Each of us knows what St. Paul means in our own life. Please continue in prayer as we prepare our special gifts. There will be a special envelope in the program on Sunday, October 14th for your sacrificial gift.
St. Paul will be blessed by giving for this gift will go towards reducing the mortgage.

Fill Your Heart With Thanksgiving

Take nothing for granted,
   for whenever you do
The "joy of enjoying" is
   lessened for you --
For we rob our own lives
   much more than we know
When we fail to respond or
   in any way show
Our thanks for the blessings that daily are ours…
The warmth of the sun, the fragrance of flowers,
The beauty of twilight, the
   freshness of dawn,
The coolness of dew on a
    green velvet lawn,
The kind little deeds so thoughtfully done,
The favors of friends and the
  love that someone
Unselfishly gives us in a
   myriad  of ways,
Expecting no payment and
     no words of praise --
Oh, great is our loss when
   we no longer find
A thankful response to
   things of this kind,
For the joy of enjoying and
   fullness of living
Are found in the heart that
   is filled with thanksgiving.
