Health and Welfare continues to work towards providing services to St. Paul and its surrounding community.
The Ministry is now looking into the
Share Program which is run by the Catholic Charities. The food packages contains six-eight pounds of meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, staple items (e.g. rice, pasta, potatoes), the package is designed to supplement a family's food budget with savings of 60% over local grocery store prices. This program provides approximately $35 worth of food at the minimal cost $15 a month.  There is no income or other eligibility guidelines, nor is an individual limited to the number of packages they can purchase.
The Share Program has also developed a Prescription Plan that will reduce purchase cost by 30-70 percent. More information on this is forthcoming.

As the Ministry continues to focus on health, there is
a  Breast and Prostate Cancer Awareness Seminar  planned for Saturday, December 1 at 10 a.m. The Ministry is concerned about the health of the St. Paul family, therefore we are diligently trying to find that person or persons that can provide us with the most current and updated information.
Husbands, fathers, sons, and brothers--mark your calendar and plan to attend along with your wife, your mother, your sister, or your daughter. It's your life, but we want to provide you with the correct information that will aid you in living a longer and better quality of life. Watch the bulletin for more information. May God continue to bless all of us with good health.
