Our children are on fire for the Lord. Our children have an
opportunity to learn about being church leaders with their participation in
Children's Church. The Children's Church has been blessed with good attendance.
In April, Plathon Watson was our spiritual leader and Sylvia Dorsey continues to be the liturgist. Harold Corbett, Brian Jackson and Leonard Wigglesworth gave assistance. Our children are asking to participate in the service. Our goal is to have the children take ownership of their service. We are well on our way to that end. Any children wishing to participate in the service, please contact Sylvia Dorsey, Plathon Watson, or Judy Adams. God has led Sister Dorsey to establish a Youth Praise Team comprised of Velma MacCauly, April Pitts, Cari Adams Cherita Lassiter, and Jujuana Chaplin who provided the vocal music while accompanied by Sister Dorsey's cousin, Derrick. music. Derrick has shown he has a gift for music. We can never thank Andrea Robinson and Jean Ivory for their continued support. Finally, please be mindful that "Children's Church" is held the last Sunday of each month at 10:45 a.m.
