St. Paul is thought to be the oldest black congregation in the Baltimore Conference of United Methodist churches. It began its glorious history with dedicated worshippers, and as the 210th year is observed, it is done so with dedicated worshippers who rejoice in the church's legacy of building on faith in God.

As great and as glorious is our past, it could fade into the realm of the forgotten unless there is a continuation of all that the worshippers of yesterday both began and accomplished.

With consecrated and devoted leadership, loyal and enthusiastic supporters, and loving and faithful members, the future should loom more splendid than the past. The many obstacles of our forbearers are not ours to struggle with today.
